Lesson Learned

12 Feb 2012 by admin, No Comments »

My son had a school assignment that involved reading some instructions, following them, then writing about the process and results. When he first told me about this assignment, I was pretty excited. I have a housekeeping manual and I thought he should read a chapter or two and then follow the instructions — especially the part about hand cleaning the floors. He had other things in mind. As he’s 13 and growing like crazy, you can easily guess that he plan was for food. He made this:

Coffee cake. It was gone in one day.
