Shirt Sewing

10 Dec 2011 by admin, 1 Comment »

My guy, Oli, has finally grown a bit. It’s been a while since I’ve sewn so I was more than happy to take a growth spurt as an excuse to crack out my machines. I made a pile of underwear for him (he’s picky and only likes soft, hand sewn ones with the seams on the outside and the elastic encased….) and a new shirt.

I realize his time for wearing “theme” clothing may be coming to an end as he leans more and more towards typical boy clothes. Most of my boy print fabric got a polite decline when I asked if he wanted a shirt from it. We finally settled on a pirate shirt and another (coming soon). So, maybe I should keep those machines out and sew like crazy for this little man before he gets too grown to wear my creation.

No way that this is Oli! It’s been too long, Jill.
