The Boy “Go-To” Gift

3 Mar 2010 by admin, No Comments »

Each season, I like to have a nice and fun “go-to” gift for kids. This is the favorite of mine right now.

After seeing AmbrosiaGirl’s boy’s messenger bag tutorial, I thought, “hey, I can do that.” And so I ordered a bunch of ammo bags for boy gifts. I was too lazy to break out the fabric paint and, instead, used an iron on patch. I made a notebook cover and put some crayons and an airplane on for this kindergarten-aged child.

Mojo had a party to attend as well (same day, different kid), she also brought one as a gift. Her gift was for a 10 year old boy. We gave him a gun — a hot glue gun and some craft ammo. It was received with glee.

And I am very happy with how easy it is to customize and assemble a unique and cool boy gift.
